JENNIFER RIGBY
Since joining PWG in 2012, Jennifer has helped transform the company into one of the UK market leaders with a strong base to build future success, building a continuous improvement environment to enable sustainable business growth. She takes a very hands on approach to providing the overall direction and management of the business; preparing strategic policy and plans to help take the business forward onto a global level, whilst increasing the profitability and shareholder value.
With a proven track record and wealth of experience in a variety of industries, Jennifer brings thirty plus years of general management experience to the table, working within private, public and charitable sectors domestically and internationally. Jennifer has headed up strategy for high profile blue chip companies such as a subsidiary of Experian, GUS PLC, Dunlop Protective Footwear, CAB to name just a few. With a wealth of key sectors specialisms including security, fraud, manufacturing & engineering, retail, biotechnology, software and business support.
Jennifer is also very active within the business community and is committed to helping others. She has a real passion for learning new skills herself whilst also developing and inspiring others to liberate their entrepreneurial skills. In her spare time she works as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Lancaster University Business Management and a volunteer SFEDI Enterprise Mentor, helping inexperienced students and companies get to where they want to be. Jennifer also served 7 years as one of key founding Directors at Business Link for Merseyside to deliver business support to SME’s across Merseyside region. During this time she illustrated her ability to turn businesses around in minimum timeframes, including restructuring, managing change & culture.
