To ensure we continue to take the lead in specialist security provision we invest in our people, technologies and our proactive services. Operating at the forefront of the more acute areas of security and intelligence, the company’s team are drawn from many branches of senior levels of police, special forces and military, with an excellent pedigree of crisis management in a wide range of commercial scenarios.
PWG is committed to providing our people with the necessary training requirements to enable our team to meet and exceed the requirements of our valued clients. We continue that support by providing all employees with the opportunities to progress their skills and careers via tailored and individual continuous professional development plans which are also supported by an interactive online training portal.
We recognise that whilst general security training is essential, all professionals should undertake a wide variety of training skills in a multitude of applications to ensure they can operate flexibly across various environments.

Andy Cotterill
Andy started his career as a vehicle technician following in the footsteps of his Father who was a time served Mercedes Benz engineer. After serving in the military for the Royal Signals Regiment, Andy made his debut in the security world joining Securitas in 1997.
In 2002, Andy was seconded to PWG and was instrumental in the setup and delivery of the successful ‘hawkeye’ project which was designed to tackle the growing threat of armed robberies and protect cash in transit for several high street banks. This project was a real success and developed into ‘grapevine’ a dedicated model of intelligence gathering for the Post Office.
